I’m not an atheist. I don’t think I can call myself a pantheist. The problem involved is too vast for our limited minds. We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many languages. The child knows someone must have written those books. It does not know how. It does not understand the languages in which they are written. The child dimly suspects a mysterious order in the arrangement of the books but doesn’t know what it is. The government of the Maldives has held a cabinet meeting about five metres (16ft) underwater to highlight the threat of global warming.

President Mohamed Nasheed and his cabinet signed a document calling for global cuts in carbon emissions. Ministers spent half an hour on the sea bed and communicated with white boards and hand signals. Officials from the low-lying island nation say the dive is “a bit of fun”, intended to send a serious message. The Maldives stand an average of 2.1 metres (7ft) above sea level, and the government says they face being wiped out if oceans rise.

So, I keep on wondering, why all the fuss about Israel. It is like the world is about to end! Everything is about to end, because Maldives is to sign peace agreements with Israel. There is no other conclusion, but it is mere politics. Let us be reasonable.

The Salafs: During Gayyoms regime they were silent. Let’s say in hiding. Secretly doing this and doing that. I asked, why do you not talk about Gayyoms autocracy, why do you not spread the truth openly? The reply was so soothing. “It is ordered upon us to obey the leaders as long as they do not force us to perform devil”

But today! This government has given them the opportunity, the freedom to spread and preach the truth.  And has not forced on them anything devilish. And what do they do? Shout at the government: government this, government that, bla bla and bla. I can not help, but wonder what happened to, “It is ordered upon us to obey the leaders as long as they do not force us to perform devil”

And comes talks of Israel. Why are they so worried about signing a peace agreement with Israel WHILE we have so many real problems within this country. Our children are been abused! Our kids are been murdered! By who? Not Israelis, not Americans, not Chinese, not Indians, but by our very own hands! And where are these sheikhs? There is no uprising, there is no voice. Seems like that they don’t even care.

Obviously, they don’t care. We can see it! When they care they make noises, they shout, they talk about it the whole day every day. And it is always something about the government, something political they talk about. And nothing about the real problems we have.

There is no balance, there was never a balance, and it was always biased; biased because of fear, now because of freedom.

It is happy to know that the child abuse video that I shared was already shown on the Police 119 show on TVM. The case has been investigated and is at the Prosecutor Generals office according to Mirfath, Police head of child protection. Thanks to Fathimath Nizam for sharing this information with me.

Though, it is at the PGs office, it is a long breath to hold before we know what happens next! Recently we have seen several of ‘lack of evidence’ verdicts letting free murderers. And in order to let this case end in favor of the abused children we should keep a keen eye on the case.

And I really really do hope that all such cases end in favor of the little children that are been so much hurt!

This should come to an end! Now!

When these kids grow up, what would they know about life? What would their feelings be? Would they know about love, kindness, caring? Or would it be hatred, anger and despise all they know?

With in the beautiful islands of the Maldives, child abuse has increased immensely. For several reasons perhaps! What ever the reasons are, what ever actions that are required to bring an end to this, it should be done right now, at this very moment.

It brings tears to the eyes, to see children beaten up, tortured and even murdered!

Recently I have started cutting down expenditure on ‘leisure’, and started thinking more seriously on utilizing my income in better ways. I believe this is something that I should have done since a long time back. Anyhow, thanks to the governments economical policies and the decision to cut down salary.

When a government’s actions and decisions enforce people to think positive and productive, I believe that the government is moving in the right direction or towards a better direction.
