Mr Lincoln once remarked to a fellow-passenger on an old time mud-coach that all men were prompted by selfishness in doing good. His fellow passenger was antagonizing this position when they were passing over a corduroy bridge that spanned a slough. As they crossed this bridge they espied an old razor-backed sow on the bank making a terrible noise because her pigs had got into the slough and were in danger of drowning. As the old coach began to climb the hill, Mr. Lincoln called out, “Driver can’t you stop just a moment?” Then Mr. Lincoln jumped out, ran back and lifted the little pigs out of the mud and water and placed them on the bank. When he returned his companion remarked: “Now Abe, where does selfishness come in on this little episode?” “Why, bless your soul Ed, that was the very essence of selfishness. I should have had no peace of mind all day had I gone on and left that suffering old sow worrying over those pigs. I did it to get peace of mind, don’t you see?”

When we hear about evolution the biggest misapprehension is the apes to human ‘transformation’. The main idea behind evolution is very simple. It is the rule of natural selection. The ape to human is a possibility that Darwin himself did not much elaborate on. But what he elaborated on was the idea of natural selection. At the time of Darwin DNA was a ‘tool’ that was unknown to humans. Today with DNA been revealed, the idea of natural selection has become a scientific fact. It happens and it is real according to scientific evidences.

The idea behind natural selection is simple and easy to understand. Based on the surrounding factors, the most ‘preferable’ creatures tend to adapt to the situations. For instance, ‘in a forest where there are deep flowers, hummingbirds with lengthier beaks are more likely to survive, because hummingbirds with shorter beaks are unable to suck the nectar from the deeper flowers. Over time, this results in the survival of hummingbirds only with lengthy beaks at that particular region’.

Likewise, with the changes in the world, and with specific conditions at particular regions the organism that live varies over time and transform from one form to another. The similar species that live at different conditions could have immense physical differences.

For an atheist, this is evidence that everything happens naturally. But as a believer, and because The Quran have evidences for this, I prefer to refer to it as Allah’s Magnificence. Allah created the universe, implemented formulae that will keep the movement of the universe functioning till an allocated time.

If asked the question, ‘can God create a stone which he cannot demolish?’ Islamic scholars are very keen in answering that God does not work the way we do. And this is in fact very true. God does not work the way we do and we cannot even imagine how God works. The problem is we cannot digest this. And when it comes to certain other matters we forget this.

Sometimes, perhaps most of the times, we tend to take the literal meaning from certain versus. For instance, when the creation of the earth in seven days is mentioned, several of us start assuming that is human 24 hour 7 days that God took to create the world. But in reality it could be or could be not. But when scientific theories came into existence, such as the Big Bang theory, we now understand that it was an action of God that initiated the sequence of creation.

When a tsunami hits, or when a hurricane hits, it is not a sudden natural disaster. The fact that tsunami warning could be issued beforehand is evidence that such events are not sudden. Such events are planned and occur ‘naturally’ as part of an ongoing sequence of events. That is why we see a reason for every such disaster. A tsunami could be the result of an earthquake which could be the result of certain movements in undersea plates, which could be the result of a volcanic eruption, which could be the result of … and this list of reasons could continue forever and ever and could even be traced to the very beginning, because the whole sequence of life and universe is a continuing sequence with a single point of origin.

And from that moment in which creation started, the sequence continue to happen and will continue till an allocated time, the End Time.

He was born here at the Maldives, to a Maldivian mother and a Maldivian father. Might be because he lived far away from them when he was a child, he lives a ‘general’ life. Faith was something he was barely taught. He passed days, religion was non that mattered to him. He wasn’t skeptical, but it was lack of knowledge that left him wandering. But then again, his enthusiasm kept him looking for answers.

At teen he met a group, generally referred to as the ‘wahabbis’ at the Maldives. A few hours of interaction developed a sheer interest in him towards religion. He never cared to ask several questions that he asked later, but continued to follow ‘the group’. He was there amid them at the very center, yet his view was as if someone looking into a group from a distance. He was an observer, a learner, and a careful one in that.

When MDP came into existence every person who was against the then government (Maumoons government) joined MDP. It was two sides at that time; the MDP and Maumoon’s people. Later on with more freedom and because of differences in thinking more groups evolved.

Similar to this, he started seeing a division within the religious group of people that he was with. When they were together all they talked about was unity; holding to the rope of faith together. But with changes in philosophy they started to leave the rope, they unwind the rope which created several tinier ropes that were ‘scrawny’! They started fighting each other and started seeing each other as infidels!

And as an observer, he could not withstand what he witnessed. It was a mess that he needed to get out of. His faith that started to blossom vanished into a nothingness. He saw each other showing evidences in their favor from the same sources and his feeling towards the Almighty changes. He started believing that there is no higher power. Because whatever religion that he knew of was full of contradictions, conflicts, arguments, fights and battles. He saw religion as a politics with own agendas, own philosophies and thinking.

So he ignored, started wandering yet again. And when he reached higher education he was deep into science. His knowledge in science ousted any other student at his level. This might so be because his intention was not only learning for the sake of learning, but to find a meaning in life, to find answers, to know the reason of existence.

In science he saw a beauty; a beauty that is so intense so complicated and completely governed. He saw the most complicated formulae governing the actions and reactions in life; a formula that creates a never ending series of complicated events. The universe, the beauty in it, life, death, the math, the physics, the chemistry in the universe, how these three basics of the science co-joined to bring out the miracles of the universe! In that he saw a fascination. A miracle, wonderment!

And in science, in the wonderment of the universe, in the beauty of life he saw reasons, reasons that brought back his belief; the belief in a superior power. The strengths that govern the universe, the laws that keep the flow, it requires to have a coordinator, and organizer, he realized. And his faith grew stronger the more he learned science. In deed belief is magical!

A Muslim, a Christian, a Buddhist, a Jew, a Pagan, an Atheist, an Agnostic – whatever religion or belief a person dwells in – at a time in life would ask the question, ‘why was I created? Or why do I exist?’

This question comes to mind, might be for several reasons. It is, perhaps, because of the understanding or the ideology or the feeling that a person feels, ‘I am not created or I do not exist simply to live and die’! However, when a person is mature enough and opens her eyes to the world she sees her surroundings. A surrounding that is filled with different people of different beliefs, cultures and life styles. And she thinks about their daily activities. She sees people worship, she sees people build the world, she sees people learn and teach…so on so forth. And at the end she sees people leave behind marks that are beneficial and useful for others. Marks that remain used, unchanged for centuries and centuries!

She sees people trying to achieve goals, some succeed, and some fail. And she asks herself, over and over again, what am I supposed to do? And if she is a believer, she looks up into the sky and asks, ‘O Lord! Why did You create me?’ And by all these questions and thoughts, she is only searching for a higher purpose, a reason for living, a deeper meaning and to gain more than what is already gained and to provide more than what is already been provided.

And when she is told it is for worship that she exists, she wonders what is meant by worship. Indeed, the word ‘worship’ in the Islamic dictionary is vast. Unlike what certain sheikhs says it is not only about the daily five prayers, zakat, hajj, fasting etc. But worship means a lot more than that. It is the defining point of life, the very rule that governs every moment in life. Obviously one could not spend every second in the meaning that certain sheiks explain as worshipping.

In the very simplest of terms, worship could perhaps be explained as the act of refraining from deeds that is been forbidden! As long as she remains away from what is been forbidden she is in a state of obedience and therefore following what is been revealed and thus worshipping.

She learns from The Book, that amongst the various meanings of the term worship, it also includes activities of enjoyment, learning, educating etc. And what grasped her concentration utmost was how strongly it is called upon to observe, learn and gain knowledge. And because this was so strongly mentioned she believed that learning and gaining knowledge is of utmost priority.

And it was only when she studied; when she learned the world, she realized there is a meaning to life. That is when she realized that living does not mean spending days and days at home covering with a cloak. But learning and making use of what is been learned, exploring, researching and tackling every little to big thing in life, is more of a living and a worship.

That is when she realized it is not only what is after death that matters, but this world is of high importance. The purpose of men and women is to sustain life on earth. And in order to do so, building the earth is a necessity. Earning is a must. Some describe earth as a bridge, and their advice is to ignore it and only to think about what at the end of the bridge. But she realized that crossing a bridge is a hard work, particularly if the seas underneath are rough. All precautionary measures need to be assured; life jackets need to be worn, the paths should be learned, friends and foes require to be identified. Walking with eyes closed will only direct to a path of darkness. Perhaps with closed eyes it would lead to a hall on the bridge if stepped into would drown her in the rough seas.

Therefore, she concludes that life on earth requires endless effort in personal development, adjusting herself to the surrounding and making the world a place where she could live. And most importantly she needs to make the world a place where her children, grand children and the generations to follow could live.

..He has to study all the religions to find which the best is…

‘If you want to eat food, you want to taste all the food? And then you will say which the best food to have is’

Meaning One:

The person who answered did not realize that when choosing a religion, one should choose only the true religion. Food considered, it does not matter, even if it is not the tastiest or even if it is not the best of all, the requirements would be sufficed. The desire to eat would be fulfilled and hunger killed. But once a ‘wrong’ religion chosen one could end up in blazes eternally!

Meaning Two:

The person who answered is very contentious. He believes that whatever religion one follows, it does not matter as long as that particular religion gives the person hopes and the satisfaction and the driving force of life. At the end it would not matter!

If the question is asked,’ who is ruling the Maldives?’ the obvious answer would be President Mohamed Nasheed. Of course, he is the elected president and would be in power till the end of his presidential term. And obviously we do see several differences between the current government and the previous. Mr. Nasheed has a tendency of implementing his visions no matter how much opposing pressure there is.

When Maumoon was at power, simple protests would force him to change what he was doing, and he had to bow to the citizens and the opposition. But with Nasheed leading, it is very different. The establishment of provinces, increasing of the electricity charges, cutting of salaries, and the promises to bring Guantanamo prisoners to Maldives are few examples.

The straightforwardness in his words and the tenderness in his actions would make one ask the question, ‘from where does he get the courage to move forward so straight so smooth?’ And the answers dwell in the lengthy history of the New World Order (N.W.O)!

For many of us, N.W.O is either a conspiracy theory or something that we have never heard of! Yet in reality, it is a truth, a prophecy that will be fulfilled; elaborating on the word prophecy, because it is mentioned in the Holy books.

In a very simple perspective, the N.W.O is a ‘concept’ as well a belief that the world will be under single power, single governance before the End Time. In different cultures and different beliefs the signs for the End Time vary but do have similarities. Muslims, Christians, Pagan, Jews and even the Satanists of Vatican believe that before the End Time the world will be ruled by a single government.

For the Satanists, they have been getting ready for The Ceremony for centuries and centuries. When they retrieved what Solomon left buried under the temple of Solomon, they became the world powers. They learned the forbidden knowledge from the documents buried. They were able to establish communication with other dimensions, and their belief is that it will be a Satan that will be the leader during the time of N.W.O. In a way this coincidences with the Islamic belief of Dajjal!

However, the Satanists have been building their temples around the globe, the pyramids, and other ‘energy points’ in order to garner energy enough for the Lucifer/Dajjal to appear. And they have been performing several rituals and events that are mostly related to 11, which is a symbol of Satan. If one goes through the history of the world the events of November will be very much visible!

The Americans and the British are the leaders behind the N.W.O. And the leaders of these countries are the core Satanists. The Vatican, people of the Church, the British Royal Family is all conspired to be followers of the Satan. The Roth’s Child Family who controls the finance of the world seems to be the leader Satanists who are funding all the Satanist activities around the world.

Yes, the same Roth’s Child group who offered to give a hand on the carbon neutral project of the Maldives. Back to the point, who is ruling the Maldives, the US and the British are trying utmost to achieve the goal of controlling the world as the time of The Arrival is looming. We can see clearly how the US and the British attack their opponents; implant one of their people to lead particular countries. In this manner, today the Maldives is been handed over to a ruler who is friends with the British. Handed over, because without the help the British provided, the MDP would have not achieved the goal of leading the country.

Now bringing the whole picture together, it is part of the N.W.O to control all the countries of the world before establishing the One World Government. And they have achieved this goal at the Maldives by electing Mohamed Nasheed as the president.

And this is the exact reason why President Nasheed is fearless. He has an assurance and is backed by the British, the Royal Family, and the Roth’s Child Family. And those of you who observe, sooner than later, will see pyramids been erected at the Maldives, the energy sources of the Satanists! The Maldives is not anymore ruled by the Maldivians, it is ruled by the British, the Vatican, and the Satanists!

Speaking of religion, in some of my earlier writings I have tried to elaborate that it is leaving science that Islam became as dark as it is today. During the golden age of Islam, it was Muslims who were leading the world. Scientific theories, new discoveries, mathematics, physics, cosmology – whatever fields you would name – it was Muslims who were the top notches in the fields. Unfortunately the world had devilish plans for the believers. The minds of the believers were fragile; most of them were ignorant and believed whatever was infiltrated into their minds. The Muslim community was brainwashed and made to forget the verses in the Quran that mentioned to use their mind and the verses that mentioned to look, feel, learn and think about the surrounding, the nature, and the world! What they were made to believe was that their only purpose on earth is to worship! And the meaning of worship was taught as praying, giving zakat, fasting and jihad with swords!

All the findings of these people were looted, and the worldly knowledge was in a way taught as a curse to them. ‘Science is the worst enemy of Islam’ is what the Muslims were made to believe! Sadly in the paradise on earth, the Maldives, this ideology is growing stronger and stronger with every minute that is passing. It was yesterday, an uzthaz, was expressing his views on science at the Islamic library.

His focal point was that science is nothing! Science is useless and of no importance. And to prove his ideology on science he took an example – water. He presented a scenario. Two containers filled with water, one salt and the other pure. His argument was that because the quantity of water in both containers was equal and because the weight of the water is equal there is no way science could differentiate whether it is salt water or pure water! And he said that it is only a human who can differentiate the water by tasting it! Now, this argument flabbergasts me! First of all, it could be his ignorance and lack of knowledge that made him say that the weight of an equal amount of salt water and pure water would be equal!

It is simple logic; water becomes salty because there is salt content in the water. Salt is heavy and therefore salt water should be heavy compared to pure water.

Secondly to differentiate between salt water and pure water one does not need to employ a human to taste it. If science could not differentiate between these two, than, obviously every water plant would require a human to test its water for salt content. This uztaz was so ignorant; he did not know that science could even measure the quantity of salt that exists in a given quantity of water, let alone differentiate salt water and pure water.

I’d like to call this example of the uztaz a humiliating one! And it is the lack of knowledge that puts one is such a state of humiliation. If we want to discredit science, simply ignore science. But making such examples is so humiliating, not only for the people who make such statements, but to the entire country!

The truth is science can breathe, smell, taste, touch, feel, and evolve!

“… And even to those who seek to find the truths, it is a tough task to get a grip on the dark history of the Maldives. And like Napoleon once said, ‘What is history, but a fable agreed upon?’ The history that we are shown is only about the battles fought and won and the falsified stories of ‘Rannamaari’, ‘Handi Ganduvaru Dhonkama’, ‘Foolhu Dhigu Handi’ etc.! “

I always wondered why when we speak we have a tendency of adding ‘spices’ to the spoken words. When we speak, we are the bravest, the highest, and the noblest, even if we were hiding under the beds, and even if our men were clothed as women when we were attacked! And this story of Kalhu’oh’fummi hits my mind. It was a trip from one location to another, no miracles. It wasn’t a super speed trip, and the ship did not cross a dry land! Yet we teach our kids it as a miraculous trip! Our history is so dark, full of deceit, and even if there is a truth, a hundred lies accompany the single truth. Our life is been based upon tales!

And speaking of children, we are filling their minds with lies, lies and more lies. The dark stories in our history twisted into horror fables; that is what we share with our children as bed time stories. The story of rannamaari, the tale of a sex addict ruler – we don’t even care to mention the truth behind the story, yet we teach it in our classrooms. How beautifully the story is manipulated, the truths hidden, lies accompanied, tuned to a fine bed time story!

And the foolhu dhigu handi, what a beautiful story to related to our children. Was it actually a foolhu dhigu handi that Amina’bi saw or was it a man satisfying himself? And was it a dhigu foolhu that was penetrated into Amiha’bis house, or was it the manly organ of the guy Amina’bi met at the mosque?

And the song that is sung by Amina’bi every night when Hassan Thakuru was at home; ‘Bau kalo naadhey, migey dhoshah naadhey, migeyaku nei ro kujjeh . . .’ what is the truth behind this song? Could it be a signal to the guy who visits Amina’bi when Hassan Thakuru was out fishing? Could this song be a warning to him, that Hassan Thakuru is at home today! Stay away! Come tomorrow!

Yes, the story of foolhu dhigu handi is a twisted tale of a ‘triangle love’ story, or devilish sex story. This is what a few historians reveal about the truth behind foolhu dhigu handi.

In fact, Dhivehi teachers and historians of the Maldives do know very well the truth behind every such story. Yet they prefer to keep the truths hidden and to relate the falsified stories to kids! Out history is dark…Perhaps there is a reason why such stories has been passed from generation to generation in a cryptographic manner. It might be to inform us of the dark history Maldives. To inform us that our past was all about desires!

The roads paved, buildings erected, harbors completed, we see a beautiful Male’. The islands, though, a bit behind compared to Male’, are developing and life styles changing towards a modern direction. Transportation systems established, communication systems fantastic, we are living a generally cool life. And several of us rarely think about who we are. The Maldives that we see today: only a few think about its past. The cultures that we practice, the dances that we call Maldivian: only a few think about the origins of these cultures and practices. We are a country who is in the debate of gender equity, human rights, atheism, liberation, secularism, etc. and only a few of us reflect how this country was in the past.

History is in fact one of the most important aspect that could explain the current conditions of a country, and it in fact could be the most important subject that could determine the future of a country. In other words, where we are today and where we are moving towards could be explained easily and more fluently if we know our history, the history of the Maldives.

Today’s hot topics include differences in religious views, equity, secularism, and sexual aspects etc. and all are mostly related to beliefs. In history, we are taught that the Maldives was a Buddhist country. And of course there are several Buddhist temples that are been found and protected as historical places. However within these facts that are been revealed, there are several hidden facts; facts that only a few historians knows. It might be because the people of this country have no interest in history, such facts don’t surface. Or we are not having any interest in history because the people who control us do not want us to have any interest in history.

Could it be a conspiracy or a truth, a new idol has been revealed in the Maldives that brings a whole new chapter to what we know about us! It is in the blood of several Maldivians, the homosexual genes. We know this, with the freedom we have gained; more and more of such are expressing themselves, their feelings and their needs, in writing and spoken. Who actually asks the question, ‘why so?’ Maldives labeled as a 100% Muslim country, should portray a much more Islamic culture. And in our blood should be piousness! Such questions could be answered by looking into our own history. We have some cultural activities that are similar to those of Buddhists obviously because in the past Maldives was a Buddhist country as written in the history.

And if the idol that was discovered recently is a truth, it might explain a lot about the sexual cultures of the Maldives. The idol supposedly was not an ordinary statue of the Buddha but was the statue of a ‘fertility god’. Those who have the slightest interest in cultures and religions would certainly know how a ‘god of fertility’ looks like. This perhaps is evidence that at a time Maldivians worshipped the ‘god of fertility’ and hence had experienced bi-sex and fulfilled homosexual desires.

But unfortunately such information is been withheld from public knowledge. And even to those who seek to find the truths, it is a tough task to get a grip on the dark history of the Maldives.

I keep on wondering and wondering, why people always, all the time want to create a fuss out of everything! The ministry of education is in fact one of the most important ministries. That is the ministry, in a sense, that governs the future of the country. They make the decisions related to syllabus, education system, teachings, and qualifications etc – everything that is related to the educational sector of the country. Every decision, big or small, made by the ministry of education is decided with utmost consideration and the children of this country kept at the core of this consideration.

And a few of the people somehow tend to find issues with whatever decision that is been made by the ministry of education. No matter how beneficial that particular decision might be, this group tends to gather in front of the ministers home, shouting and hooting – at midnight!

The first thought that strikes my mind is, if this group has a good intention, why do they hoot in front of the minister home at midnight? Why not make an appointment, meet the minister and go the beautiful way? It certainly is because the motivation behind this hooting is non that is good.

Leaving that aside, let us look into the decision made by the ministry: to make Islam and Dhivehi optional subjects. The important point to note regarding this decision is that Dhivehi and Islam is not been eradicated. Both the subjects will be taught and those who would want to learn will be able to learn both Islam and Dhivehi. It has simply become optional, because the number of subjects that particular students can study is limited. And when Dhivehi and Islam are made a must, some students are unable to pursue their dreams, because they could not choose two other subjects that they wanted to study so badly! Like any other subject, Islam and Dhivehi are also subjects. IF these subjects are to made a must, what about Biology, Physics and Chemistry? : The very subjects that opens a child’s mind to the world and life. The subjects that allows a child to enter the facts and realities within the revelations!

The second thought that strikes my mind is, the ‘parents’ who strike in front of the ministers home, why do not they simply ask their children that they must study Islam and Dhivehi at CHSE? That would simply resolve the issue if there is any without creating further unrest and social problems!

The bitter truth is, the midnight protests are just a stunt carried by a people who love to shout and hoot to make meaningless headlines. These people should be ashamed for three reasons. One; they are wasting their time for no reason. Two; they are teaching their children a dirty lesson. Three; they are depriving others from their rights.

And if it has anything to do with these people loving Islam and Dhivehi, then certainly they will choose to make their children study Islam and Dhivehi amongst all other available subjects. As simple as that!
