A crystal clear and detailed report has been published by the auditor general’s office on how Golhaa is misusing his power in order to win the upcoming election. The loans and free cash he is distributing to certain people and his wastes on what-do-we-know-about and what-benefits-do-we-gain projects are immense. If Golhaa had the tiniest love for this country and the poor people of this country, he would have used all the wasted money in better ways, helping the citizens.
The report shows clear evidence that Golhaa is using government properties and services for his campaign trips and activities illegally. And evidently he is giving away the high level government posts to DRP members and electing island and atoll chiefs to favor his campaign needs. All these were facts people talked about for so long. Today we are happy that there is an independent auditor general’s office which can really look into and expose such frauds and misuse of power.
And the repost very clearly states that Golhaa has been campaigning in the name official trips to islands. I just wonder what the heck Golhaa is trying to do! With all these facts so clear and visible each and every single person who votes Golhaa will be responsible for the damages caused by Golhaa to this country. Such is what we need to change. A president who does everything for his own benefits is what we want to get rid of. We need a president who will consider the citizens first. Not a president who uses the national security forces for his protection, but for the protection of people first.
We don’t need a president who spends millions and billions on a few already wealthy people to protect his regime. But we need is a president who will ensure that no Maldivian is left to live in poverty. I urge all the candidates and every person capable; to spread the report published by auditor general’s office to ever single Maldivian. Let Maldivians know how their president, the Golhaabo, the incumbent dictator, has been spending the country’s wealth for his own needs and to fulfill his own desires.

It is with a sense of satisfaction that I read the report of the Auditor General.The accusations and the knowledge we already had regarding the misuse of state funds by the President had been proved correct. Hats off to the Auditor General for the degree of independence and integrity shown by him. It is people with such qualities that we want for the new democtratic Maldives. As we all know Maumoon has sucked our nation high and dry. He wants us to reach new hights in misappropraiting state funds and distributing the wealth of our nation to his cronies and stooges.Rather we wish to return from these hights to terra firma. The nation now is at cross roads in its history. It is now that we make or unmake our nation for generations to come. Already so many generations has been lost. Today let us remember the counntless number of victims of torture in the prisons of Maummon, the youth who are the cream of our society addicted to drugs, the number of our own people without basic housing,the countless number begging for healthcare, disparity between the rich and the poor,nepotism within the government,the list goes on and on and on…SO let the people decide without fear, who they will vote for. It is their right. We do not want this tyranny to continue. We do not want more of the same. We want change and change is in the air. Let us not allow this opportunity to overtake us.May Allah grant us the wisdom in making a correct decision tomorrow when we, the people of Maldives,go out to vote. VOTE FOR CHANGE.
