A shame to Golhaa!
It is a huge slap on Golhaas face when Mr.Adhil Saleem and a senior group of MIFCO endorsed “Wathan Edheygothah” coalition. The fact is there are several other people who would want to let out their frustrations for Golhaa! But unfortunately not all have the courage, because fear still remains. They could not even imagine what Golhaa will do to them if he gets elected for a 7th term. Golhaas selfish, family-first, autocratic ruling is a main source of frustration for several people. From underprivileged citizens to general government staffs to high profile government figures to … well, the majority of the Maldivians; they are all frustrated and baffled.
Unfortunately, Golhaa has succeeded in inflicting fear in all their hearts in the past several years. But what Mr.Saleem and his team showed is a pure example that the frustration is overruling the fear! And in fact, the result of the last voting was also evidence to this fact. What I am trying to say is Golhaa should think twice about how he is treating the opposition. Every person has his or her limits. We Maldivians love the people who love us. We love the opposition. They are the people who are trying for a long time, to end a dictatorship and bring a pure democracy to this country. It is because of them me and several others are able to make use of the freedom of expression as it is meant to be. It is because of them, we are able to breath freely and fearless.
And when Golhaa tries to blame them, accusing them of spreading Christianity and non-Islamic ways, it is not only them that Golhaa is blaming! We (the majority of Maldivians) have joined hands with them, and any blame they are to take, we share them too. Because their philosophy is ours; unlike Golhaa and his cronies, what they speak is what we ask them to. They do not speak for themselves. What ever they say, they first listen to our thought, our feelings, our needs, and then only do they speak! They are not you Golhaa!!
We feel frustrated when we are blamed of spreading ‘filthiness’ within this country! We feel enraged when we are blamed of trying to introduce sodomy and homosexuality to this country. We feel madden when you blame us of spreading Christianity in this country. I remember that Golhaa used to say earlier, that the opposition is speaking against 90% of the country, because Golhaa at that time was elected with over a 90% of votes. And now Golhaa, you ought to know that you are speaking against a 60% of this country! What Golhaa is doing is slowly slaughtering the helpless people of this nation!
And the outcome of such slaughtering never breeds sweet results. Not a faraway memory is the 2003 jails situation that made Maldivians burst their frustrations into flames! And in fact that was the major beginning of Golhaas downfall too! Golhaa ought to know that blaming the opposition does not create hate in the hearts of people towards the opposition, yet it only increases the hate towards Golhaa and his gang! Golhaa is only increasing the Wathan Edheygothah members and supporters! Why? Because we know that it is Golhaa himself that has erased the tenderness of Islam from this country.
It is Golhaa and his devilish sheikhs who gave fatawas against Islamic rulings! And is it due to Golhaas divineness that drug addicts are increasing day by day in this tiny country? Blabber about the **** you have done for Islam! Sending two letters to stop a radio program? Deporting missionaries? Hell! Did Golhaa even investigate any of those cases? Who were the people behind bringing such people to this country? Were they not Golhaas people? No wonder there were no investigation! Hail to Golhaa! Long live Golhaa! But it is time that we live our life the way we want.
A fear free, a smooth, a democratic and a purely Islamic life; and for this we are going to vote Wathan Edheygothah on the 28th of this month!

Well what i think is still we have got a lot to do dho. Its hard to change minds. Sply woman. No matter how much evidance we bring aginest Golla .. those nuts are hard to crake. So we better find a way to reach their minds and hearts within these fewdays. I am sure the majority of woman will vote Anni and thats a lof of votes. Looks does matter.
One of the mistake the opposition have done is to forcast the election results in advance. The truth is 70,000 voted for Maumoon. 44,000 voted for Annia and around 60,000 voted for a change in somway or other. So don’t be soo sure that this 60,000 will vote for Anni alone. Its not like transfering money dho.. Lets see. This vote may go eitherway but my estimate is the chances for Golha to win is greater dhen Anni but i am sure it will be very competitive.
My worry is what will happen after the elections. Will it end up in a fight or shooting? Lets hope that it will not dhooooooo.
