The joke is so famous that even little chaps would answer “manikufaanu vidhaalhuvi gotheh” if you ask them how much is 2+2. But this is about to change, on the 29th of this month we will make a new one which is 2+2 = no more Golhaa! The aim of me writing this is to urge and plead the opposition candidates to unite with Anni to oust the dictator. Of course it is a fact, according to the results, that Golhaa secured 40.6% of votes while Anni secured a 25.1%. What we ought to know is that if we unite against Golhaa he will not be able to secure more then that or perhaps even that amount. But if we unite against Golhaa, Anni could get over a 60% of votes.
The two who got a small percentage, that is Umar (1.4%) and Ibra (0.8%), they should not forget that still a single vote counts and matters. The 3854 votes secured by Umar and Ibra should still remain against Golhaa in the second round of voting on the 29th. I urge Umar and Ibra to start campaigning for Anni. Convince your supporters that Anni is the ideal candidate at the moment. Keep them on the track, let them not forget the 30 years of Golhaas tyranny, his torture and the life of the poor people of this country that we love so much.
Qasim (15.3%) and Dr.Hassan (16.8%), join hands with Anni. If both of you are able to convince your supporters to cast their votes to Anni on the 29th of this month Golhaa will not have a chance to win this election. Remember the reasons why you had to leave the dictator behind and move forward with your own reform agendas. Remember the reasons why Golhaa was not able to win in the first round. Know that the people of Maldives do not want to be lead by Golhaa anymore. Who wants a tyrant to be their leader? And remember that some people will be in a state of confusion now. It is your duty and my duty, and every single person’s duty to try to a maximum to get rid of the dictator.
It is probable that the dictator right now would be making master plans to rig the votes on the 29th. But if all the votes secured by Qasim, Hassan, Umar and Ibra are directed towards Anni, there is no way that Golhaa will stand a chance to win the election.
So roll your sleeves up, change 2+2 equal to NO MORE GOLHAA! Let’s bring a change to this country, for the betterment of its people, their children and every single person!
And those who voted in favor of Golaa on the 8th, what you have witnessed on that day were clear evidence that the majority of the people do not want Golhaa anymore. Think wise and act wise. Those who are advantaged by supporting Golhaa should know that the deprived people of this country suffer as a result. Listen to the needs of the underprivileged people of this country, and know that the underprivileged is the majority of this country.
