First of all, I never used the name Golhaa or Golhaabo on my blog, because I had a little respect for Gayyom. However, after watching tonight’s ‘Siyaasath’ program on Television Maldives, a program which is a Q&A session between a presenter and presidential candidates for 2008 elections, the tiniest respect I had for him, faded away like a breeze. The one thing that kept repeating in my mind was ‘he is the bloodiest liar of all’.
I do not want to repeat all the lies he made tonight. But I will just write one thing that bothered me most. He said he never used or never will use religion as a tool. A tool, perhaps to protect his regime or to garner support! Yet, he said that he couldn’t do anything because God did not willing! He said when ever he made a promise he would have said “with the will of God” and if he failed he is sorry, which practically means God did not willing!
Dear Maldivians, learn a lession from tonight’s show. Every promise he is making right now, he says “if God willing, or with the will of God”, and so what certainty do we have that he will deliver his promises. Because now we are certain that God is not with him, because he could never deliver his promises. What a shameless person he is to blame God for his incapability’s! What a shameless person he is to blame God to justify his lies. What a shameless person he is!

The sad faact is most of the Maldivians are an innocent lot. The utter and complete lies that GB is shouting out from TVM will be believed by a lot of naive MAldivians.I dont think that at the present time there is any creature on earth that can come out with lies like GB.The two faced MOON uses religion when it suits him and slanders and mocks Islam when it again suits him.May God Almighty deliver us from this creature and remove him from power.

I disagree.. I think any liberal voice that speaks for a sensible, meaningful and relevant interpretation of Islam, rather than the rigid, literal, carved in stone set of restrictions imposed on us by our Arab expterts – needs to be praised. Even if we don’t like the person.
On the other hand, I completely agree that a leader who leaves everything to God, may as well not contest the election. God only helps those who help themselves.
May be god will fulfill all Golhaa’s dreams for hi beloved Maldivians on the judgment day ….. So couldn’t u guys Wait until the day comes…
