The unfortunate truth is or so it seems, no one wants to take the blame. Neither the government nor the parents no the citizens – no body! But if we really love our nation, is this how things are going to be? Is our government to continue its blabbering about taking actions but with no positive changes? How many parents are willing to stand forward and do what ever they are capable of to stop their children from this vicious curse? Is it that we don’t understand the damages caused because of this malady? Think about the condition of once a peaceful nation today! On street corners young kids smoking joints getting “high”…that not enough, disturbing the people walking by. And that not enough, hurting others, looting others, committing crimes beyond imagination! Well, it still might be a paradise for tourists, but not for the local citizens, not anymore!
And at this rate imagine the future…how dark would it be? Not the future far away, but the near future; say a couple years from now. Who would be ruling the streets? Well, more or less it is addicts and thugs ruling the streets now also, but it still is partially safe for the common public. But at this rate it is difficult to say if a general person would have the courage to wander the streets at night! Or perhaps even at day light. The bottom line is that this is an issue that needs to be taken care of immediately, right now, this very second. Although talks are been talked on this for years and years, we do not see the scenario taking a positive turn. We do not see the number of people using drugs decreasing. What we see is that the number of people using drugs increasing day by day. And crimes directly related to this issue increasing daily. And the seriousness of this issue is already at a peak and over limit. Yet actions are far behind hiding at the street corners.
Someone needs to take initialization; someone needs to start a sturdy campaign to put an end to this civil disease. If this does not come to an end the out puts would not be less soiled then now. The public is in rage, and the rage is increasing day by day. Again, the outcome of an ignored rage would not be a sweet scene to witness. Why not hold hands before its gets worse then it is now, to put an end to this “despair” that our nation is experiencing today. Why not put the differences, political or whatsoever, aside and work together on this issue. This issue that break the hearts of hundreds of parents, this issue that create civil disturbances, this issue that leads to crimes, this issue that kills, this issue that ruins the lives of many young people, this issue… that is sullying the paradise! Save the paradise.
