Adhaalath party genuine?

After the recent terrorist attack and the Himandhoo issue, I do hear the name of Adhaalath party a lot: Their ideas on how to handle such issues and so on. However a doubtful question arises, is Adhaalath genuine in their claim that they are working for Islam and to make Maldives a nation protected by Islam? This question arises for a reason. The changing tones in their voice are sometimes deceiving and misleading. I had the chance of meeting some of the Adhaalath party scholars even before the formation of political parties at the Maldives. Some of them, with evidence, ensured that taking pictures of animated life is haram in Islamic law except for in certain situations like for the purpose of making the passport or such. However when it came to politics, the very same scholars seems to have forgotten this, and their posters were hung on street walls for campaign. Now, is it a situation where taking photos become legal or halal? What I remember is, some of these scholars did ‘mock’ those who used to make posters for campaign purpose. And to my understanding Islam does not change! So scholars of Adhaalath, could you please save me from my doubts about you and your loyalty? For a second issue, Adhaalath scholars have created doubts about veils. I have heard from Adhaalath scholars that it is a wajib for female Muslims to wear veils that cover palms and faces. However recently they have mentioned that it is doubtful weather it is a wajib or sunnah! So once again I ask Adhaalath scholars to prove their legitimacy by clearing these and other such issues that you have deceived people of. Prove that it is Islam that you are supporting and not trying to gain a political advancement.
